ANTIQUE ENGLISH 18K GOLD AGATE SPINNER FOB w/ 22K GEORGE IV GUINEA COIN LOCKET:

An antique English, solid18 carat gold spinner fob; beautifully made, with a rotating section set with a polished carnelian agate panel to one side, and a 22 carat gold George IV guinea coin to the other, hinging open to reveal a glass locket compartment holding a woven hair memento.

A wonderful heavy quality, very collectable fob...perfect for wear on a chain too!

CONDITION: All original andvery good. Slightest signs of wear and shallow denting commensurate with age and use. Some coin detail wear/rubbing - see pictures.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Coin dated 1795. English hallmark to mount for B\'ham rubbed, around 1870/80. Maker\'s marks HG&S.

DIMENSIONS:43 x 29mm overall, coin diameter 24 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 24.2grams.
