RARE ANTIQUE ENGLISH HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER TILTING TEAPOT WITH STAND AND BURNERMaker :James Dixon&Sonscirca 1890
Beautiful English sterling silver tilting teapot measures 13\"H x6\"W. Intricate foliate decorations along the bonehandle, bone finialand beautiful feet as shown add to the elegance of this antique piece. The pot is attached to base with 2 large pins (keys) . one releases the holder so the teapot can be tilted, the other pin releases the hinge so the pot can be removed from the stand. Both pins are attached to beautiful base with chains.The removable burner has a long handle and a reservoir for fluid.All pieces, including burner, stand, lid of the teapot and teapot itself are marked with Lion Passant, James Dixon &Sons sterling hallmark .There are no dents . The bone handle has a corner crack but nothing to worry about . Additional pictures are available upon request
