An antique English sterling silver fish server or slice made during the reign of George IV. The slice features openwork with scroll design on blade and a heraldic device on the handle. The crest appears to be a griffin sejant pierced with an arrow.

The piece is hallmarked for English silver as denoted by the Lion Passant mark, Assay town of London asd denoted bythe Leopard mark, maker’s mark is for William Knight II London, and date letter “m” for 1827.

Measurements; 12” long, widest point of server 2 7/8”,weight 138grams

Condition report; normal wear and surface scratches in accordance with age and use.
