~ Edwardian Solid Silver Handled Glove Stretcher

This saleIs for asolid silver handled Edwardian glove stretcher c 1911.

The handles are made from solid silver fully hallmarked.

The handles are in good condition and a light polish would bring the them back to their former glory.

The stretchers themselves are made from steel and silver plated (This is normal to give the item strength).

Handles fully hallmarked as follows:-

              • Lion Passant - the mark of English solid sterling silver.
              • The Anchor - the hallmark of the Birmingham Assay Office
              • The letter m - for the year 1911
              • ALLd - The Silversmith / Makers mark of Adie & align=\"center\">

                Measures 8 inches long (20 cm).
