A wonderful New England estate find, this intriguing antique first edition German language medical book is inNEAR FINE condition overall! The exterior of thisfinelybound octavo volumeshows some light wear,including some bumping to the corners, minor fraying to the edges and some rubbing to the back board, but presents beautifully otherwise. Both boards are firmly attached; a nice tight binding overall! The text block throughout is in Near Fine condition, with no rips, or tears. I did notice some light underlining inpencil in one chapter, but it in no way detracts from the overall readability of this gorgeous tome. Ex-library, with bookplate in front. Beautifully illustrated; some being hand colored? Overall a groundbreaking work in the field of oncology!
