Offered for sale is this gorgeous antique French porcelain and bronze mantle clock. It is beautifully made with very heavy bronze and Sevres quality and type porcelain panels, decorated with raised gold enamel and colorful birds. I am not a clock expert, the clock is in untouched \"as found\" condition. I don\'t have the key, I don\'t know if it runs, although it sounds lovely when you ding the bell. There are a variety of marks, including a script signature, on the movement and case. I don\'t know the maker but these type of clocks are typically Japy Freres or Marti. The side porcelain panels are also marked. Please email me if you have any questions, or would like some high resolution pictures. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.

SIZE: The clock is approximately 15.25 inches tall, and is just over 7.25 inches wide. It weighs 10 pounds 13 ounces.

CONDITION: It is in \"as found\" condition. It is missing a hand, and there are some tiny nibbles around the key holes on the front. There are some small touches of wear to the gold enamel. I have included pictures all around the clock. Please see the close up pictures, it is beautiful.
