Very beautiful, antique to vintage, French or Spanish, Gothic style, chandelier. Features a large, ornate, scrolledwrought iron frame which isblack with gold giltaccents.The chandelier is 3 arm/light.Each arm houses a large lantern with 4 stained glass panels. The glass is dark amber which changes to alovely goldin the light. At certain angles and in certain light, the fixture appears to have two different colors of glass. The glass istextured on the interior with a smooth exterior. The glass is held in place with tabs on the interior of the lanterns and with screws at the top of the lantern frames. Each lantern is topped with an ornate, largetwisted finial. This accentis repeated on the bottom of the fixture. A floral pattern bobechesits below each lantern. The lanterns are open on the top and bottom. The are angled with the top sections wider and they narrow toward the bottom. The chandelier is quite nice and in very good condition.It retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is flutedand the gold and black colors are repeated here as well. There is a yellow UL sticker inside the canopy but there are no manufacturer\'s marks.The initials of \"G.S.\" are painted on the top of one of the arms. I do not know if this is a maker\'s mark or if this was added sometime later. It is not visible when the chandelier is hanging. The wiring is cloth wrapped. The clothhas worn in a few areas but the wiring is still in good condition. The sockets appear to have been updated at some point. Each arms houses one socket and utilizes one standard sized bulb.

The chandelieris large and measures 27\" in diameter and 24\" tall (excluding chain). There is approximately 17\" of wire and hanging chain (original black iron). Each of the lantern arms is 13\" tall from bottom totop of finial. The glass frame sections are 6\" tall. They are 7\" wide at the top and narrow to 4.5\" wide at the bottom.
