Description: - This is an excellent antique George III mourning ring. The ring is crafted with alternating bands ofblack enamel and then gold. On the ring can be found the inscription: \"Mrs MARY ROGERS DIED 8 APR 1802 AGED 59\". The ring is also stamped with the kings head (George III),The lions passant, which was used during this period to denote 22 carat gold, and date letterF (1801).

Condition: -The ring is in very good antique condition. Very minor surface scratches but no real wear of note to enamel when viewed under magnification. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
