Offered is an estate fresh exquisite pair of late 19th century figures crafted in vermeil (Sterling silver with gold finish) of a Renaissance King and Queen. Beautiful detailed casting & hand chasing throughout, with delicately hand carved ivorine heads set on matching bases featuring pierced & chased details and set with cabachon stones. Made between 1870 to 1900. Marked \'925 Sterling Germany\' on bases. Condition: very good, gilding intact, patina commensurate with age. Queen figure base has one missing cabachon on back corner (easily replaced) and she may be missing a scepter from her right hand (?). King height: almost 5\" including attached base.Queen height: 4-1/2\" including attached base. Bases measure: 1-3/4\" square. Please review photos as part of our description.
