This is a Bisque socket head doll with big brown glass sleep eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes with full eye wax and dark brown feathered brows, open bow mouth with 4 upper teeth, pierced ears with light normal straw lines behind her ears, wonderful antique mohair wig, perfect coloring for this doll. Her beautiful fully-jointed composition body is in super excellent condition and tightly strung. One of the BEST antique bodies I have come across. She has on antique undergarments, socks, vintage shoes, antique dress and silk hairbow. Marks: Germany Handwerck Halbig 4. By Heinrich Handwerck, Simon Halbig circa 1885-. Comments: perfect bisque with no cracks, chips or hairlines, original body with original body finish, red lined fingers and toes and stamped in red \' 4 Heinrich Handwerck Germany\' on the backside. 24\".
