Antique Kestner #257 brown eye doll.
Pate has been restored and partial restoration to finish on composition body. (restoration by 1 of 2 well known San Francisco area specialists), non functioning crier, a few eyelashes missing.

23\" tall, 15 1/2\" head circumference, 20 mm eyes,Bisque head and composition body, brown eyes, mohair wig hair appears original, working sleepy eyes, 4 jointed (hips and shoulders),open mouth with teeth and tongue visible, combination painted on and applied lashes,Bisque head marked J.D.K. 257. on crown; Made in Germany 57. on neck; Made in Germany in red ink above crier. Original \"The White House Toys\" San Francisco toy shop sticker on belly.
