ANTIQUE LATE VICTORIAN 15K GOLD BLUE ENAMEL DIAMOND PEARL NAVETTE BROOCH c1900 :

An antique solid 15carat gold (tests thereabouts) navette shaped brooch, decorated with beautiful translucent blue vitreous enamel over a guilloché type ground, with a white enamel border and set with lustrous little saltwater pearls and lovely sparkling white old cut diamonds.

Fabulousquality - wearable and very collectable!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use.Hinge is an old replacement. Traces of adhesive to pearls\' settings. The back probably will have held a glazed locket compartment.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1900. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:32 x 21mm overall (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 6.6grams.
