As found, a very old leather wallet/pouch with embossed design on outside. Well worn and fragile condition especially the strap that wraps around to secure the flap. Measures 6 5/8\" by 4\" folded. When unfolded it is 9\" long. The wallet has an area for paper money. There are two flaps that fold against that area. Not sure what their purpose might be. Included with wallet are the papers found inside. From the Jackson County Clerks Office in Indiana there is a marriage form dated December 25, 1839. There is also a marriage certificate from February 14, 1902. Christmas and Valentine\'s Day! There are 4 other historical papers showing births/deaths/marriages dating from 1817.All the papers are in delicate condition.
