This is an antique married set made of a chocolate pot andsixchocolate cups with saucers.All pieces are in excellent antiquecondition.No chips, cracks, hairlines nor repairs. The pot has minimumwear to gold and some wearto gold is visible on the rimof one cup. Another cup has more goldthan the othersaround the rim. Please see pictures.The pot bears the marks of JEAN POUYAT LIMOGESFRANCE(ca. 1890-1914)The pot is 8 3/4\" tall with lid, 6\" wide from spout to handle.The cups and saucers have the marks of TRESSEMANN& VOGTLIMOGES FRANCE (ca. 1892-1907)The cups are 3\" high and have an opening of 2 1/4\".The saucers are 5\" in diameter.The pot is decorated withpeach and yellow roses and foliage.Heavy golddecorate the eleganthandle, the spout and the lid.The pot has been washed after these pictures and the yellowstains visible here have disappeared.The cups have heavygold on the scroll shaped handles andaroundthe rim.The porcelain is white, fine and transparent.The edges arescalloped and embossed.Even though the pot and the cups do not come from the sameLimoges factory,they have the same style and are the same age.All together a rare and impressive set.The set will be shipped insured and double boxed.Please see my other items for more Limoges sets.Pay Pal only and payment in 3 days.California residents will pay 7.5% tax but theyusually receive a shipping adjustment.(Please wait for the invoice)
