Superb & Highly Intricate Napoleonic Miniature Piano

Wonderful, early 19th Century Napoleonic prisoner of war work. A miniature piano,

ingeniously turned & carved from camp soup & mutton bones,

with beautiful pierced fret work on delicately turned bobbin supports.

A tiny piece of the fretwork is missing immediately behind the sheet music. A little bit of old brown glue visible at the top of one leg where it has been stuck into the main body of the piano. No breaks or repairs. I love the hand inked sheet music and two candlesticks perched on top. Maximum length is 5cm.
