HAND KNOTTED ANTIQUE OLD CHINESE NECKLACE GRADUATED OVAL CARNELIAN AGATE BEADS

This listing is for an antique necklace of genuine Chinese Carnelian beads. The colour of the stones area deep red to orange. The clarity of the stones is good withagood transparency (some are more even and translucent than others). The necklace has the original Victorian Sterling Silver barrel clasp.

Measurements:The necklace is 49cm long.The largest bead is 20mm long and 14mm wide and the smallest 9mm longand 6mm wide.

Testing:The stones have been verified asCarnelian using a Gemlogis gemstone tester. In addition, the stones areextremely hard and cannot be scratched with glass. The stones also havecolour variation and imperfections to the surface as expected with old Carnelian.

Age: 1880

Condition: Good antique condition. The Carnelian bead have the normal variation you would expect to see insuch old stones. Condition can be subjective so I have included super size images. Please inspect them carefully as they form part of the description.Payment: I accept payment by Paypal.
