ANTIQUE ORNATE METAL FLOOR LAMP LIGHT BRASS TONE CREAM 48\"

Up for your consideration is this nice antique metal floor lamp. It stands 48\" tall without the shade or light socket- no shade or socket is included, and the lamp will need to be re-wired. The lamp is probably from the 1930\'s or 1940\'s however, it appears to have a newer (probably replaced in the 1970\'s) power cord. Please be sure to see the other antique items we have listed.

  • FEATURES: This floor lamp features a heavy die-cast ornate round base with a heavy bronze finish. The lower section is cream colored with an antique brass tone upper \"collar\". The round Tube is ribbed and also a cream or off-white color. The Art Deco style wrought iron top piece has what appears to be an acorn molded into one end. This piece also has a threaded nipple for attaching your light socket. Inside this nipple, you can see the end of the vinyl covered copper wiring. There is no on/off switch. \"C 134\" is etched into the bottom of the base.

However there is a slight dent in the cream colored section of the base - it is on the back side of the 2nd picture, it has been re-wired (not the original wiring) and has no socket or switch.     You really like the thing, but not so much the price...

    I find cool stuff, do some research and list it for what I think it\'s worth. Sounds pretty simple but sometimes not. So if this is something you really like but its a bit more than you had hoped to pay, then be sure to watch this because I can\'t send it to the bank, and if it ends without a buyer chances are real good I will drop the price and re-list it until it does sell! Two things for sure - it will get sold sooner rather than later, and that\'s better for both of us.
