A truly magnificent early bowl for kitchen use. It was made at home and weighs over 3 1/2 pounds. It is darkened from ages of use and exposure and it is one of those pieces dear to my heart. Its period tin make-do has that effect on me. There is a plate of tin at the bowl\'s very bottom and another line of tin running up its side. A wonderful old bowl, completely useable and worthy of exhibition. 4 1/2\"H with a diameter of 10 1/2\", and the wood itself is 1/2\" thick. Beautiful form! CONDITION REPORT: In very good condition, with anticipated age and wear patterns. Gorgeous patina; slightly out of round from generations of life and use. Tin has darkened.
