This is a very rare mid to late Victorian miniature metal cat with bow design with velvet, a sewing novelty. Beautifully articulated metal and has original large headed pins as well as regular size pins inside. Amazing work. Size is lovely for a collector of sewing novelties but also great for a doll collector in a scene with an antique doll. Approx 2 inches and 13/16ths or just under 3 inches. This is an exquisite miniature. Heavy not sure what kind of metal, possibly pewter. Marked \"Germany\" on the bottom. Don\'t miss this great cat! These sewing novelty animals are highly collectible.
