ANTIQUE ROYAL DOULTON TURKEY PLATTER & 9 MATCHING DINNER PLATES FLOW BLUE C1910:

Offered here is a combination large flow blue Royal Doulton turkey platter and 9 matching dinner plates of the same pattern and vintage. The mark on these pieces dates them to C 1910. The platter measures 23 inches in length and 16 1/2 inches in width. The dinner plates measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. This set was made in England as indicated by the mark on the bottom of the platter. See pictures. The ninth plate has a 1/4 inch chip on the rim, but the other eight plates are in almost mint condition. Excluding the two flea bite chips on the underside of the platter and the blemish on the underside the platter, it is also in near mint condition.
The set has been in storage in my family for over 70 years. I inherited it from my uncle who was a medical doctor in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.It is very rare to find a Royal Doulton platter of this quality with 9 the matching dinner plates. It is truly an elegant and beautiful platter and plate combination.I have described these pieces as accurately as possible and have included 12 pictures to help the potential buyer make up his /her own mind before offerding on this set.Shipping of this set will require extensive and careful packing.
