This is Beautiful Antique Russian Hallmarked Brass Samovar by BATASHEV 1870-1898 Tula.Hand made from very thick heavy brass and wood, has a very stylish design.
It is measures approx. 22\" tall, 15\" between handles and very heavy.
The samovar tee pot is in very good vintage condition, some age and use related wear.The brass has a wonderful patina from age.Samovar were highly prized in Russia life - they were not only a source of hot water forbeverages, they were a heating instrument and the center of the family.
