This is a wonderful museum qualitythree-footed open salt dish in a very good condition. It is colorfully enameledin eight (8) different colors of enamel and covered in a gold wash or gilding.The dish is marked with the goldsmith’s initials in Cyrillic “ГМ? or СМ?” , “84”Russian silver standard, “Kokoshnik” facing left indicating a date of manufacturecirca 1896-1908, and assayer’s initials “ИЛ”. Approximate dimensions: 1 and 5/8inches in a diameter and 7/8 inches tall.
