Antique (1930s) Karl Griesbaum singing bird cage in outstanding condition with original hummingbird feathers

I fully serviced (cleaned, adjusted, lubricated)the mechanical movement so this bird cage operates perfectly like all pneumatic automatons that I sell. Please watch the 2nd short video which explains how important it is to only purchase a fully serviced singing bird cage.

This bird retains its original feathers and most importantly, was the top of the line bird made with real hummingbird feathers. Most of the Karl Griesbaum birds are feathered with normal bird feathers - not hummingbird feathers. Noticethebands of very tiny iridescent blue and green along the neckline. Also please notice the large, wire loop feet and larger glass eyes. If you have been looking for a true, antiqueKarl Griesbaum singing bird cage with a fancier bird,this is it.

The mechanism is solid metal (no plastic parts) with wood & leather covered bellows. Everything on this antique cage is 100% original (conserved, not restored) except for the lacquer on the two black forest berries & mushroom.

The originaland highly colorful bird feathers are vivid and full and the brass wire cage has a wonderful warmth to it. The merlot colored velvet flooring andfoliageaccent this antiquepiece nicely

Like all singing birdcages, this bird cage has three operating modes(off, pause & on). This stands approximately 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide at the bottom base.
