ANTIQUE SOLID SILVERPair ofFEATHER EDGE TABLE SPOONSFully hallmarked for LONDON 1771and with the maker`s mark - TC over WC, forTHOMAS & WILLIAM CHAWNER--------------A really good pair of spoons that show very little wear.Just the left hand lead edge of the bowls is slightly thinnerwith the spoons having been used, right handed - see pic.3.The stems have feather edge decoration all of the way round the edge.Engraved with the original owner`s initial - \"B\".--------------I have shown pictures of both sets of hallmarks, which areparticularly good for bottom marking.--------------A SUPERB PAIR OF EARLY SPOONS--------------Length:- 217 millimetres / 8.55 inches.Total weight:- 141 grams / 4.53 ounces.Average weight 70 gms. / 2.26 ozs.
