Offered here for your kind consideration is this highly collectible Spanish colonial piece. A hand painted painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Ntra. Sra. de Guadalupe de Mexico) on porcelain. This is actually a Rosary case which is made of composite materials of porcelain (top cover), brass (frame), and mother of pearl nacre (backlid). The Rosary inside is another treasure as it is made of hand carved mother of pearl (nacre), with the Body of Christ made of silver! Note that the Rosary is missing two beads, but even still, this piece is a highly desireable piece! Very beautiful in person and rare. The rosary case measures 6.5 cm by 5.5 cm. The Rosary measures 44 cm long. Please look at all the photographs provided for an accurate description of this lovely piece from the past.
