This listing is for a fine American sterling silver Knights of Columbus chalice or goblet. The chalice measures just over 9 inches or 23 cm high, and is 6 ¼ inches or 16 cm in diameter. The chalice has a very large marked on the base “STERLING 925-1000”. The entire chalice troy ounces. It is heavy and substantial.
The lobed base is decorated with raised bas relief religious figures including many stages of Jesus’s life. The standard of the chalice has six sides with arched windows designs and silver jewel decoration at the center. The bottom of the cup has a scrolling leaf and vine design. On the bottom of the chalice is a dedication, "TO REV. WILLIAM F. ODELL ON HIS FORITETH ANNIVERSARY BY THE REV. GEORGE DESHON ASSEMBLY, FOURTH DEGREE, K OF C AND HIS FRIENDS".
