H. Teguy was a silversmith working in France around 1930.He had a strong connection to the Basque country.Some call his work “Basque Art Deco.”He usually signed his pieces directly on the front.

There are many examples of H. Teguy’s work on the internet, but there is precious little information on the artist himself.

The pin measures 1 3/4 inches long x 1 1/8 inch tall. It is 6 sided and looks, to us, like it represents a transitional piece bridging Art Noveau and Art Deco.

On the side panel we the mark for sterling quality and the maker’s mark. The pin is in excellent condition.
