Blue Glass Liner - 1 troy oz. - Stunning Design & Condn

This is an ANTIQUE EDWARDIANsolid sterling silver mustard pot with a hinged lid anda blue glass liner which was made in Birmingham, England in 1903 by the illustrious Victorian silversmiths, George Nathan & Ridley Hayes of Nathan & Hayes at their Icknield Street workshops. It isin an oval shape,pierced sides,reeded edges, a spire finial and has aloop handle. The pot measures2 1/8\" high by1 1/4\" wide and is 2 7/8\" long including the handle. It is NOT engraved. The quality of this mustard pot shows in the weight -31.4 grams (without the liner) - which isover 1troy oz.

It is in very good condition for its age with just the usual surface scratching withlittle distortion, NO dingsbut NO dents - with little play to the hinge and no repairs - SUPERB.The liner is well fitting and clearly originaland in very good condition with no cracks and no chips. The pot is hallmarked to theside with GN over RH, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),three sheaves, Cshowing that it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1903.I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. A delightful and UNUSUAL ANTIQUE addition to someone\'s table or collection in superb condition afterover 110 years.
