This is a lovely rare ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN solid sterling silver fruit serving spoon, that was made in London,England in 1908 by the famous Victorian silversmiths, William Hutton & Sons at their Oxford Street workshops. It measures 7\" long and is 2\" across its bowl.It weighs 49.1 grams - well over 1 1/2 troy oz. The handle has a stunning barley twist pattern with a detailed apostle finial. The bowl is beautifully plain.

It is in very good condition withjust the usual surface scratching that you\'d expect for its age and NO splits or dents with NO dimpling to the bowl and without the usual wear to the leading edge or thinning to the bowl - SUPERB. It is hallmarked on the reverse of the bowl with WH&SsLd, leopard head, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),n showing that it was hallmarked in London in 1908.
