This bowl is

one of the Earliest

Authentic Tiffany & Co. Masterpieces.

Therefore it has special collectible Value.

It was designed and made approximately between 1856-1860.

It was made before Civil war time and it was witnessing one of the most important andessential historical events of United States.

It was made byJ.C.Moore & Son.John Chandler Moorewas a partner from circa 1848 to 1855 with Edward Chandler Moore in New York City NY as J. C. MOORE & SON. In 1851, Tiffany & Company contracted with the firm to produce silverware exclusively for them.

The bowl is crafted of Sterling Silver, which was new for American market of that times and came of Great Britain Royal Standards.

It was called English Sterling and stamped so. You can see also 925 - 1000 stamp, which became 925 later.

Bowl decorated with highly detailed ornate floral design and beaded rim.

The bowl has really solid size and looks stunning.

Very good condition, some minor dents, look at the pictures.

Extremely rare!
