Lot of 2 antique Victorian Valentines Day greeting cards to include:
Rare die cut embossed gilded 3 dimensional pop up fold out stand up advertising Victorian Valentines Day greeting card measuring 9\" t x 8\"w and titled in gold :TO My Love and advertising MORNING NEWS-- \"BALLS Health Preserving Corset is the best in the world.\"Darling scenic card featuring youngchildren dog, mother with glasses, etc. Card is missing 2 die cut figures on either sideof the children. These could easily be added as the fold out strips are still there.Also, the top of the young man is missing. There is also a strip of old reinforcement tape on the left back holding atiny piece of gold trim along the edge. If you look carefully this tiny strip is also missing from the right side. In spite of these losses the piece is strong and in very good condition. A rare Victorian die cut 3 D advertising Valentine over 100 years old.
A Victorian die cut embossed hanging Valentines Day greeting card featuring large roses on a stem with 2 hearts and a cupid/putti dangling from the branch. Measures 8\" wide. Condition issues are with cupid. Part of head taped back on, legs missing as well as end of trumpet gone. Otherwise all original with original silk ribbons still in tact. Could easilyreplace with another die cutscoreap putti and you\'re set. Hard to find these early hanging greeting cards in any condition these days. Please see all photos.
