Antique Victorian Ring……….

This ring has many things going for it, firstly it is fully hallmarked with .625 for 15ct goldthe date letter for London 1875 – all nice and crisp too.

Considering it’s age it is in excellent condition with no damage tothe stones or pearls and it has not been re-sized.

The design is very attractive having a central boss with a crimpededge and set with eight seed pearls and a central ruby.

What I really like is the shank that has a lovely belt and buckleeither side.

The Victorians were known for their symbolism in jewellery and thebuckle / Belt / garter represented loyalty, longevity, faith and never endinglove.

Because of the sentiment, this ring would make a thoughtful weddingor Anniversary ring, in particular a Ruby wedding gift
