Antique Victorian Edwardian Paste Ruby & Diamond Brooch
Gold plated sterling silver setting with central array
of flowers, one formed of sterling pedals with a square (ish) paste ruby and
spiral tendril, flanked with prong set paste diamond flowers with open backs.
Prongs appear to be a different metal, possibly copper that was plated.
Reverse with tube hinge and C clasp

Tests for silver 800 or higher
Approx. 1 3/4\" x 1 7/16\"
Weighs approx. 7 grams
Condition - antique, gold holding well to the setting, stones appear to
be in good old condition, \"copper\" prongs with wear to plating and one with
a missing single prong (see last photo with red line) this does not appear to be a problem as the
lower portion is still present and only the very tip is gone. All stones present.
