This is a beautiful antique Victorian solid silver teapot in superb condition with beautiful engraving and a pretty lid with a lovely flower finial. It has a capacity of 2 1/2 pints and measures 7” (18 cms) tall to the top of the knob x 9 1/2” (24 cms) across from the handle to the end of the spout and 6 1/2” (16.5 cms) in diameter. It weighs 804.5 grams which gives you an idea of the quality and the inside is nice and clean and ready to use - there are no inscriptions or monograms. Although the hallmark underneath is a little worn it is still legible and is also hallmarked inisde the lid for London 1850 with the silversmiths mark for John Wellby - please scroll down to see photos and email elliejbush@gmail.com if you have any queries.
