This type of Antique Victorian hinged gold filled bracelet is hard to come by and this one is simply stunning. The front is engraved Martha in cursive with a scrolling floral decor design surrounding it. Engraved small lines throughout the front of the bracelet and a smooth surface back of bracelet. Beveled edges. On each side (at the clasp and hinge) is a simply stated engraved scroll. There is a small button (at the top of the scroll) that you press to open with a short stopper on the inside, holding the bracelet firmly and securely closed. It closes with a snap. Measurements: side to side (inside measurement) 2 5/8\"
front to back (inside meaurement: 2 1/4\"
Thickness: just under 1/4\"
Width: 5/8\" (between 1/2\" and 3/4\")
Measures between 7- 7.5\" on bracelet measure Gently used with some surface wear as can be expected on a piece of its age. A few tiny dings. Nice weight of 32.20 grams.
