Antique Scottish Agate Circular Flower Brooch

Silver is not hallmarked , typical of this style of jewelery

Beautiful Scottish agate brooch dating from the mid-1800s.

It is mounted with silver fittings over a back of black stone which is probably slate.

Queen Victoria was instrumental in promoting all things Scottish after the death of Prince Albert.

Tartans and Scottish agate jewelry became the rage and the jewelry has retained its popularity,

primarily because its bold patterns and colours go well with today\'s styles.

I always acquire receipt of postage , and as it is the buyer who pay`s for the postage , i require them to make a claim on there behalf, this way it complies with postal service. in any such case , i will photocopy , all relevant receipts , and send originals claim form on to buyer, byrecorded delivery .any other information needed,please contact,it is better this way as any cheque for compensation goes direct to yourself, and any delay will be seen that it is not my fault.

DESCRIPTION of ITEM

I will always describe to the best of my knowledge , faults Etc .which mayappear on my Items ,[ please note that i mostly sell ,vintage or pre-owned items ], so there will be slight sign`s of age.

i always keep a good photo collection, of my items , so as to prove, if the case may arise.that there was no faults on my item,i have had a few buyers in the past , asking for part discounts on faults which were none existent.

99.9% of buyers are good , but you will always get chancers,who try swapped items or asking for part discounts .

RETURN POLICY

Buyer pays return postage.

I will except items, which do not match my descriptions.and will refund on receipt of returned item
