This is a superb antique hallmarked sterling silver inkstand holding two inkwells measuring 9 1/4" (24 cms) across x 5 1/2" (14 cms) x 4" (10 cms) high to the top of inkwells. It\'s in super condition with no damage at all and is hallmarked for London 1886 with the silversmiths mark for Walter &John Barnard. It is a super style with beautiful engraved decoration and holds two cut glass inkwells with space on both sides for pens. The whole thing weighs 412 grams without the inkwells and sits on four feet. The two cut glass inkwells have matching hallmarks in the lid and there are no chips or cracks to the glass - please see photos and email elliejbush@gmail.com with any queries - all queries will be answered between 9am and 6pm UK time.
