Old unframed print of an American Indian man or braveon a cliffgazing down upon a river. He has long dark braided hair and is wearing leather or suede pants and has a red bandanna wrapped around his forehead. He is sitting upon his horse near an outcropping of tall rocks. Almost has a southwestern look to it, but in the background are pine trees and mountains. Maybe Wyoming or Montana? (If anyone knows more about the landscape or tribe this man may represent, please email. Would really appreciate it.)
The print measures an easy to frame 9 x 12 inches. Excellent color with no tears or stains. There is a small 1/4\" crease upper right corner, hardly noticeable. There is evidence on the reverse at the top from where it was removed from a calendar backing at some point in time. The print surface is textured and on the reverse it is noted that this is an oilette. Titled on reverse \"Lookout Valley\".
No artist\'s signature, but similar to some of the works by R. Atkinson Fox, James Fraser, Eanger Irving Crouse and advertising items for Doh Wah Jack.
