Description:

This is a great pair of figural bookends of Dante and Beatrice in the Gothic style. These are based on an 1884 painting by the artist Henry Holiday. They are made of a cast bronze and are hollow. These are a very elegant and classic style and would absolutely set off that rare set of antique books on your desk or bookshelf.

Condition:

The bookends are in great condition with the right amount of patina. I can\'t find any cracks in the pieces. If you\'ll click on the pictures, they will expand to give you much better detail.

Measurements:

The bookends measure just over 6\" tall, just under 4\" wide, and around 3\" deep.
