This old cordhas asilk or cotton core thread with flatmetal metallic wrapped aroundand twisted fora pretty look.This is 8-ply and has a high content of metal.Thisisunusedoldstore stockand would be beautiful used in your embroidery,ribbonwork projects and much more.

Not too fragile ~ but I would not recommend hard pulling.This old thread is meant for handwork,hand-sewing and needlework embroidery.
