This is an antique/vintage bendable Santa with composition face, hands and boots. He is unmarked, but is undoubtedly Japan. He is riding a putz composition stick leg donkey stamped \"Germany\" on the belly (picture 6). Both are in good vintage condition, showing normal age-related wear. Santa measures 5.25\" in height when standing to the pointed tip of his hood. He measures 2 1/8\" in width through his arms, and 1 1/8\" in depth. His jacket is red flannel trimmed in narrow white chenille around his hood, cuffs, fronts and bottom edges. His pants are blue flannel. His flesh colored face has hand-painted features (blue eyes). He has a cotton beard and carries a tiny chenille \"tree\" with a spun cotton red berry on top in his right hand. The donkey measures 4.5\" in height to the top of his ears, 4.75\" in length, and 1.5\" in width. His tail molds right into his right back leg. His legs are sturdy and tight. Surface cracks do show where the legs are inserted into the body (pictures 5 & 6). This is common in these donkeys and is just part of their construction. In picture 10, I show Santa and donkey in front of a painted soda can as a size comparison. The height here is 6.5\" with Santa riding the donkey. Of course, these pieces can be used separately, but they are so cute together! I am offering them at a reasonable Starting Price with .
