Authentic USANITE compass. It does work but I can’t be certain of its accuracy but the needle does spin. The front says ENG. DEPT USA 1918. Inside on the compass it says USANITE on top and on bottom it says PAT. APR. 20-1915. It has some wear and I did not attempt to clean it - I’ll leave that up to the discretion of the new owner. Please see the photos for details on the condition. I’m not a professional grader.
