Fabulous Antique or Vintage Oil on Wood Board Painting with large Gesso Frame.
This is signed but I am unable to decipher the name. This is dated 62, but not sure if this is 1862 or 1962. Based on the material, style and framing I am leaning towards 1862Beautiful bold red colors of an exotic dark skinned woman in what almost looks like a Italian or French style beret with feather. Framed and under glass, ready to hang in very good vintage/antique condition.
The frame as the photo\'s show has some loss of Gesso on the 3 corners, missing a couple nails on the back and has some normal dings and wear to the frame no other issues noted.
This is a heavy weight picture weighing 14lbs with packing.
This beautiful piece would look great in your home and would be sure to compliment a variety of styles.
