This is a ANTIQUE Vintage WWI WWII M1916 / M1917 Steel CamouFlage German Helmet with Markings...I am not a military expert so info welcome ( I used an online reference site to identify it)...It came from a San Francisco family whose grandfather brought it home from the European Theater along with another I will be listing soon...It has a nice camouFlage pattern that is still in pretty good condition...It also has letters painted on the back (see close up, possibly in reference to unit or soldier ?)...I found a stamped in marking inside that appear to be 31 66 (see close up)...NO dents or cracks...NO Liner...Overall still a nice and historical German military helmet...Buyer Pays Shipping.
