(***THE FAN HAS AN OLDER RESTORATION ON IT WHICH CONSISTS OF BEING REPAINTED AND ALL OF THE BRASS HARDWARE WAS POLISHED!!! THE MOTOR RUNS VERY STRONG ON ALL 3 SPEEDS BUT IT WILL NEED TO BE REWIRED THROUGH THE BASE PROFESSIONALLY WITH A NEW CLOTH CORD TO WORK ON ALL THREE SPEEDS!!! IT CURRENTLY HAS A TEMPORARY CORD WHICH ONLY RUN ON HIGH SPEED WHEN PLUGGED IN BECAUSE IT IS NOT WIRED TO THE SPEED CONTROL INSIDE OF THE BASE!!! THE BLADE MAKES A LOT OF LOUD NOISE SO IT WILL NEED TO BE ADJUSTED TO PUSH AIR PROPERLY!!! BECAUSE OF THE FACT IT WILL NEED SOME LIGHT RESTORATION TO RUN PERFECT, IT IS BEING SOLD AS/IS WITH NO RETURNS !!!***)

  • 1915 Alternating Current Fan Motor
  • No. 1116741
  • CAT: 75425
  • TYPE : AO
  • FORM : R5
  • Volts : 110
  • Cycles : 60
  • General Electric CO. U.S.A.

The visual / functional check as follow:
  • outside looks black enamel paint
  • no cracks in the cast housing or base
  • overall finish looks very nice
  • bottom plate with all screws are in place nicely
  • cage and fan blades look to be in great condition and solid brass
  • there are thumb screws on the back of the motor housing
  • brass plates on the base and the motor casing look to be in great condition - not too worn, and theytighten and loosen just fine
  • there is a fair amount of dust in the motor housing but that is expected for a fan this age.
  • motor runs strongly on all 3 speeds but it will need to be rewired professionally through the base to work properly and the brass blade makes a lot of noise so it will need to be adjusted as well.
