Antique rare Yu Ess index typewriter, in very good condition.

The typewriter seems complete, a couple very light chips to the finish, ribbon is dry.

The typewriter seems in operating condition, stylus and braille type sleeve changes letters when typed, all extra keys and levers are working.

The typewriter was originally manufactured in Germany under the name MIGNON. This typewriter was manufactured in New York City under the name Yu Ess. The Yu Ess was in production two years and only 2,000 were produced.
