Brown color art silk sari with heavily hand woven brocade paisley motifs design done with silver zari work, grey threadwork on pallu and floral design on the rest part of the sari. There is brown, grey threadwork, silver zari work on borders looking awesome and beautiful. The intricate embroidery work done on the bridal saris makes your bridal sari collection look stately, rich, ravishing and complete. History of brocade The tradition of brocade manufacture was prevalent in many centers in India such as Ahemadabad and Surat in the west. Paithan, Aurangabad, Raichur, Murshidabad, Delhi, Lucknow, Tanjore, Tiruchirapalli and Madras were other areas of Brocade production. Nevertheless Banaras brocades stand out as overwhelmingly towering both in style and execution. The word brocade is derived from the Latin word ‘Brochus’ denoting ‘to stab’ or to ‘transfix’. Brocade designs may be Tasvir or pictorial theme, Phulwar a floral design, Butidar, Geometrical Pattern, Shikargah or hunting scenes.
