This painting is alsosigned on the left hand side center by \"Ronald Reagan\", former President of the United States.

This painting is an Original by the artist Art Beeman usually known for being a newspaper cartoonist and comic book artist. We cannot confirm if this painting is an attempt at a young Jane Wyman as it did not come titled. This painting is in a Western setting with the young woman sitting on her travel case/luggage as she is looking directly towards us/the painter. She is sitting next to an old mailbox, and in the background you can see on old Western town with just a few buildings, one of them having a sign \"Devil Dog Saloon\".Word is that Art Beeman was also a mentor/teacher to Frank Sinatra in regard to the Chairman of the Board\'s artwork and original paintings.
On the back frame of this painting Art Beeman even put his name, address, and phone number!
Art Beeman was an American newspaper cartoonist and comic book artist. He was born Arthur Dubbert Beeman in Los Angeles County in 1914, and had his sports cartoons published in the San Diego Union by 1933. Beeman was as an artist of humor features for the comic books published by Quality Comics in the early 1940s, carrying titles like \'Homer Doodle\', \'Inferior Man\', \'Kidding the Kids\', \'Miss Winky\', \'Snappy\' and \'Tommy Tinkle\'. He also drew \'K. P. Jones\' for Harvey Comics. Also during the 1940s he was an assistant on the newspaper feature \'Seein\' Stars\' for King Features Syndicate.
In the first half of the 1950s he drew a newspaper feature called \'Those Were the Days\', that ran at least in The New Salem Journal. Beeman subsequently found employment in the American space program at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He provided art to space-themed books like \'Mars Revisited\' by Donald L. Cyr (1959), and \'Mariner Mission to Venus\' by Harold J. Wheelock (1963).
