Fantastic example of an Art Deco sculpture from the 1930\'s featuring a lovely slender young lady dancing with a pair of balls. Appropriately this sculpture is titled: Dance With Balls. It is signed Denis which is pseudo name for Max Le Verrier or one of his two best friends, Peirre Le Faguays or Marcel Bouraine. Bouraine usually gets credit for this sculpture, not sure if it\'s because he created it or for some other reason, at any rate you can\'t lose with one of these three. The sculpture is made of spelter and has it\'s original green finish. The pair of white balls look like marble however most references call them bakelight. The base is green and black marble with a slight beveled edge with green felt underneath. The condition of this sculpture should be judge on the pictures or ask for more if needed. I would say the condition is great but that\'s just my opinion. I can say there are no breaks or repairs and the only noteable flaw that I can perceive is a few slight chips to the base. This is not just a sculpture, it is an investment that you can enjoy and share with your friends and family. It has already passed the test of time and the Artist is highly regurded as one of the masters of the Art Deco period. Don\'t miss this chance to own a piece of history.9 1/2\" high
