Description
On offer is this fine art deco pendant pill or snuff box measuring approx. 3.8 cm in diameter and approx. 1.7 cm in depth. This pot is made of sterling silver and is marked along the inner lip \"sterling\". The base and sides of the pot are plain silver and just beneath the hinge is a bale so that the pot could be attached to a chain or chatelaine. The hinged lid has fabulous guilloche enamel in baby blue with very pretty floral and rose motif beneath the vitreous coating. This central blue area is bordered by a white guilloche enamel band which is further decorated with a garland of pink roses and green foliage. The pot has firm hinge and secure clasp and opens to reveal gilded interior.
This fabulous little pot is offered in very good condition with no dents or dings to the silver body. The silver metal is clean and untarnished and the guilloche enamel lid is is pristine with no chips, cracks or scratches. Thank you for looking.
